Jose George & Associates is a proprietorship concern under the leadership of Jose George, an experienced fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India having an experience of more than 14 years with a demonstrated history of working in the corporate law and compliance management involving secretarial activities of small to large business undertakings. He has wide expertise and knowledge in Corporate Law, Corporate Governance, Company Secretarial Work, Secretarial Audit, FEMA, Tax, Internal Audit, etc and a negotiator in business restructuring transactions. He is a strong corporate governance professional with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Kerala University and a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India having on job experience in listed companies, large public companies and private companies as well.
About Our Founder
Jose George
He started his career as a consultant in a leading firm of Practising Company Secretaries in Kerala and worked in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru and Mumbai. During which he had successfully completed mergers / demegers of quite a number of organisations and had sufficient hands on experience in business initiation, management, foreign investments, etc. In 2015, he joined RPG group as the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Harrisons Malayalam Limited, Kochi, during which he had the opportunity to see the business in a bigger arena and dealt the legal compliance requirements with various statutory authorities including the Reserve Bank of India, the Securities and Exchange Board of India, National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange. Later in 2017, he left RPG group to start his own practice in the name and style of Jose George & Associates and now cater seasoned business men as well as upcoming business aspirants with organising and registering business entities and taking care of their legal compliance requirements under various laws including Companies Act, 2013, Labour Laws and other Corporate Laws. He is also dealing with Reserve bank of India with respect to Foreign Direct Investments, Overseas Investments, NBFC Compliances and Business restructuring assignments among other areas for his clients.
